“life’s moments frozen in time”

Irene was just what our family needed. We had a newborn baby and a toddler to take pictures of. I was not looking forward to going to a studio at all. It’s so artificial. She offered to come to our home which was a big relief. We got such great pictures because everyone was at ease. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Those kids of ours…

With a whirlwind of things in our lives, it has been a very long time since I’ve posted some pictures of my kiddos. Here are some of my favorites from our time at the rental we stayed in and also some recent ones of baby P.

Owen turns One

It was a a little over two years ago, that I took pictures of his older sister's birthday party. Then this late spring I got an email from his mom saying that she had a baby boy who was turning ONE in the summer of 2013. Love my repeat clients…whom I also call them...

Arrival of my niece!

My sister in law and I were keeping in touch over the weekend as she and my brother waited for the arrival of their sweet baby girl. Many of you mama’s out there know the feeling. The anxiousness of if one was really having a real contraction or not. My sister in...

I cannot recommend Irene enough! We had so much fun during our maternity photo shoot. For each shot, she was dedicated to finding the perfect composition and mood and her enthusiasm made it easy to feel natural being photographed, which isn’t easy for me (especially at 36 weeks pregnant!). She was really good at capturing sweet, intimate moments between my husband and me without any awkwardness. Irene, thank you for the beautiful photos and the FUN afternoon!

Jake: Senior Portrait Session

I have had the privileged of knowing Jake since his freshmen year of high school through his sister Allison. One time his sister had a bunch of our core group girls and myself over at their house to make a scrapbook. I had to bring my littles with me. Jake kindly...

Family Reunions

Nothing like a good family reunion in our beautiful San Diego.

Irene — Thank you so much for capturing my little ones “in the moment.” One of my favorite pictures is one you took before the session even started of the little one hugging the older one from behind. Thank you also for letting us move to the grass when the 1-year-old complained about the beach sand, and for letting me bring the family dog along! It was a great experience and the pictures were awesome!

Our Family time in Yosemite.

I seriously love the time that we get to be together and of course the fact that I get to document our lives as we all are growing older. Even if the kids aren’t always smiling or have completely had a meltdown I still love family vacations. And even sometimes you...

When you got a little one at home it’s almost normal that he will some how catch something while he’s at the nursery at church, sitting in a shopping cart at the store or even just crawling around at home. It’s about that time again for us. When the little ones are...

a look at our Christmas celebration…

This is how we celebrated our CHRIStmas with our families this year. We were missing some people, but even with that it was still a great day to be together. Lots of presents opened, plenty of food to eat. It was a blessing to be together.

What it’s like to be almost 6 years old.

Once a upon a December a little itty baby (literally like 5 pounds 12 ounces) was born two days before Christmas. That day changed our lives in so many ways. Shay and I were overwhelmed with love from the Lord for blessing us with one of the best gifts. Actually, we...

Irene was able to capture cute and natural-looking photos of my “busy” little toddlers – that’s no easy feat! She also took some lovely family pictures too.
