We spent Thanksgiving eve-day roaming around Bates Nut Farm.
This was the first time I actually got to meet her children.
It was another moment in my life that impacted me. I cannot even begin to know what this family is going through. Here is a little about their story.
This is the story of Caleb. Caleb is 16 years old, but he doesn’t look like it as you see his pictures. Caleb is not physically well. 
Caleb was born with a condition called Cystic Fibrosis. It’s a genetic disease that affects mostly the lungs but also the pancreas, liver, and intestine. Difficulty breathing is the most serious symptom and results from frequent lung infections. Sometimes, lung transplants are necessary–in this case Caleb needs it, but his chances are slim at this point. If Caleb does not get the lung transplant, the inevitable will happen.
Will you pray with me for Caleb? Pray for the Lord’s will to be done and for peace of mind and heart for him and his family
I will definitely be praying for Caleb and I ask the Lord to provide whatever it takes to heal him from this condition. Jesus is the Master Healer so we put this in his hands to keep Caleb strong and to provide the necessary treatment to fight this condition and lead a long happy life! amen

I lift up Caleb & his family, I pray for your peace & understanding for them, I pray for healing for Caleb( a lung transfer if that’s possible & Your will), I pray for easy breathing for him, no infections and a wonderful Christmas season shared by them with each other and their family. I ask this in Your name I pray, Amen.
Lord hear our prayers!!! Caleb is a brave boy that uses his story to touch others. The girls are so sweet and precious! Erin has been strong and courageous for 15 yrs and grows weary fill her Lord with a peace of mind that only comes from you! In Christ Amen
