28 days to go, Walle turning three, 2nd Sonogram…

Wow…really seven times four equals twenty eight, right? Then if so…and that part of my elementary math is still correct, then that I’m under a month till baby #3 gets here. I feel like the days being in the twenties now is just speeding away from under me. I really not really prepared…which reminds me I need to wash the crib sheets probably this weekend. Will it happen? Maybe not. Lots to do this weekend! 

Another sonogram will be done tomorrow. Since the diagnosis of gestational diabetes, the doctor has ordered another viewing of our little one to see if he or she has gotten to big for normal delivery. So we hope we don’t find out the gender tomorrow. I mean with only twenty-eight days to go it’s really not that long to wait just a few more weeks.

As we await the arrival of this baby…our second child…my mister Walle is turning the big THREE tomorrow! How is that even possible?

I still remember going into the hospital the night he was born…there was a fire at camp Pendleton.
3 hours later we met him for the first time. With that head full of hair and I wondered about his personality.
I remember thinking, maybe he will be easy tempered and relaxed and quiet just like his dad. What was I thinking?

Here we are three years later, the most strong willed kid (I think on the planet!), very determined, curious, into everything, but yet sweet, cuddly, loves to joke around and loves to sing. He’s hardly ever quiet. We often listen to him talk and sing over the baby monitor.He loves to dance,  sings hymns, rocks out to the Supertones(christian ska band)and nothing like his quiet even tempered dad.

Yes…he’s for sure my son. His loudness comes from my side of the family and I’m proud to say that he’s mine!
Walle, you sure are a priced possession! Never a dull moment with you. I’m thankful for you even on the days when you push my buttons.
My greatest desire for you is to grow up to love the Lord and serve Him till the end of your days. Happy Birthday big boy!
