A story to tell…I love when to hear stories like this…

So here we met at this beautiful place…and little did I know that they had a story to tell. I would describe them as your typical family of four. He’s the beach type dude and she is the beach type girl with their two little men. Busy parents of children under the age of five. We can all relate…right? Immediately as we start talking we all hit if off. Funny even, their cousin visiting ask…”So do you take their pictures each year?” I say, “Ha…this is the first time we’ve met!” But something about our meeting was about to change. I was in for a story…their story.

Our conversation starts of me asking Rachel…”So how did you two meet?” Rachel: “Well, did you ever hear of that guy who fell of a 100 foot cliff in Baja about 10 years ago?” Me:”I remember hearing that….and wondered whatever happened to him.” Rachel:”That’s him!” I think my mouth dropped open! She goes onto say that they didn’t even know whether he was going to be able to move a finger with the way things were. She heard about a prayer request at church for this pastor in the area who’s son fell off a cliff and started to pray for him. And they didn’t meet till 4 years later. Rachel said that she had prayed for a guy with the same values as her to marry…and at that time when Tim fell off that cliff he wasn’t making the best choices in life…but things have changed…a miracle you say…but I say that is grace! I see it as the Lord’s grace…let alone Tim lives through it and even more he is able to walk, run, carry his sons, hold his beautiful wife and praise the living God.
