We were invited to a 4th of July BBQ at the park on July 5th. Glad we joined in. I was able to meet up with some old friends and even made a new one. It’s pretty interesting to ponder the fact that when I was growing up Manila, I never even imagined knowing the American National Anthem, saying the pledge of allegiance, and celebrating the American Independence. I’m very thankful for a country that allows me to freely worship the Lord without fear…and I’m grateful for the men and women who have served and continue to serve and protect the freedom that has been poured into our country.
