Our little girl joined softball this year. Now, we’ve had her in soccer for three seasons and there were slight improvements. Most of the time she was picking flowers on the soccer field. So we were not sure if we made the right decision to sign her up for softball.
We signed her up and she ended up on a great team where the coaches have pushed her and encouraged her and she actually has improved a ton! Seriously, a ton! And more than that, she has actually enjoyed playing the game. Sure she has a lot to learn and needs to stop being distracted, but we are just happy that she has gained more confidence with her hits and her ability to get the grounders.
