Meet Francine. One thing we have in common…we both know French. Okay Okay, she knows more French than what I can remember from almost 3 years of taking French in high school. She has an advantage though because she is part French.
It was two years ago when I met Francine. We both attended the high school winter camp. She was a student attending and I was a camp counselor. I had mentioned that one of my kids and my hubby were coming up after camp and go snowboarding with the group. The day Chloe and Shay came to meet us, I see Chloe running towards me –Or at least I thought….only to find out that she was running to other people and Francine being one of them. Francine asked Chloe what she was doing there and then she realizes as I come up that Chloe belonged to me. It never occurred to her that the kid I was talking about was Chloe whom she was working with in Sunday school. It never occurred to me that some of the high school kids I work with at knew my babies. What a blessing!
It was a privilege to take your photos Francine. You are an amazing young woman and I know the Lord is going to do great things through you.
Thank you so much Irene! I remember that day at camp like yesterday. I was so surprised to find out you were dear little Chloe’s mom! It’s been a joy and a blessing seeing your kiddos grow up in the Lord and it’s been wonderful getting to know you and your family more and more each year. I’m so blessed to have had you take my senior pics. I look up to you as a role-model of Christ’s ambassadors, thanks for being such a great leader. 🙂
