From Fallbook to St.George. We have crossed 4 states all in one day! California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah!

Yes, we finally were able to hit the road this morning. It’s been a crazy few weeks trying to prepare for this.

A/C breaking down, kids walls damaged by the a/c leaking, replacing a/c unit, repairing the walls…and so on.

But alas we are on VACATION!

We left around 7:30am and met up with some our long time friends visiting from Texas. It was a short time together at Chick –Fil –A in Rancho Cucamonga.

But we were so blessed to be able to spend the time together.

We have finally arrived to our final destination for the day. Staying in a hotel in St.George, Utah.

Such a beautiful place, except the heat is very ugly. It was about 104 when we got in. Chloe and Walle off to the pool with their papa. I’m here in the hotel room with Ollie.

I will leave you with trip quotes as we continue on this journey.

I started to write down all the quotes coming from the people in our vehicle. We have figured that Walle will win with number of quotes.

“Waaa Waaaa” = I don’t want to sit here.

Walle:
“Are we almost there?” Just in Temecula.
”Why do we need our suitcases?”
”Why we bringing our pillow pets?”

Shay:
”I can’t hear you.”

Irene:
“Don’t unbuckle your seat belt Walle.”

(notice drooling…means great sleep)
Chloe:
”An hour, that’s so long.”

Walle: “When we getting there?” Just past Murrieta.

”Where’s Grandma, where did she park?” Near Rancho Cucamonga looking for Chick Fil A

"Where we going?" A few miles from Rancho Cucamonga after meeting friends at Chick Fil A.
Daddy where’s the pool? Somewhere near Barstow. =D

Ollie:
“Waaa Waaaa” = “Hold me!”

Irene:
“I can’t hold you.”

Walle:
"Where’s the finish line?" As we are driving by Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Ollie:
”Waaaa Waaaaaaaaaaa” = “Feed me!”

Shay:
”Just 22 miles to go!”

Walle:
“Wow, this room(hotel room) has a small microwave, coffee maker, a fridge, table, couch, two beds!!!!”
